Renowned quantum physicist Dr. Mark Hadley, the lead researcher, has identified four crucial phases in driving: bends, acceleration, cruising, and braking. Dr. Mark Hadley’s calculations have revealed that the optimal Avis Driving Ratio is 10:1 – implying spending 10 seconds on a straight road for every 1 second spent on a bend.

The World’s Best Driving Road, as showcased in the Top 25 Roads list, is claimed by the N-222 route from Peso da Régua to Pinhão in Portugal. This road runs along the Douro River, offering captivating views of terraced hillsides.

Notably, the N-222 possesses an ADR of 11:1, making it the closest match globally to the ideal Avis Driving Ratio of 10:1. Hence, it provides the ultimate driving experience globally.
